How To Draw Manga Anime by Gloria

How To Draw Manga Anime

Hi, I’m here to help you get started at drawing Manga! I like everything to do with Manga! From drawing all the way to Anime comic books- no doubt about it, I’m a Manga enthusiast!
I would recommend starting with chibis! If you don’t already know, chibis are SUPERCUTE little mini people who show up in any genre for comic relief. J

OK. Start with a large head. Now, add a short neck, only slightly visible. Add a cute body, some PowerPuff Girl style legs and tiny shoes or boots. Now for eyes. There is a picture of chibi eyes down below and a small line for a nose, and then a small mouth. Add on some clothes and that equals a pretty basic chibi. They may be tiny, but they are still SUPERCUTE! C

YAY! You just drew a chibi! You might find that eyes can be pretty tricky, but sometimes just do it slightly your way then you may improve.

Manga Anime Shoujo

Shoujo is for 15- 18 year old manga characters. Take a peek at some books ( I recommend Manga For The Beginner Shoujo by Chris Hart) and learn about basic things like body structures and The Line of The Spine. Shoujo characters are either involved in Manga re-enactments of classic stories or in school stories! Sometimes they appear in Sci-Fi as angry cyborgs or as spies or secret agents of some sort. The world of Shoujo is expanding, so lets catch up on it! ↓
I’m not really a shoujo artist; I’ve already got my name down for chibis, but sometimes I go give it a shot, let’s do this!

Ok. So, like I said, I’m rubbish at drawing Shoujo, I’m better at chibis, so I just had to import this. ☺ Ok. So just have a quick look at the clothing designs and how the girl’s skirt is flown by the wind , and have a look at the hair; It’ll give you ideas!

Above the sketch shows a basic structure for a shoujo body. After, connect it up and add eyes, hair, clothes and stuff.
Ok. So I’m pretty sure that’s about it for the basics. If you want more information, check out some of the cool drawing websites! Bye.
