Maths morning in Year 5 Agnesi

This morning we had a maths morning in Year 5. We started the day with a carousel of activities that required use of a variety of manipulatives. Next we had a maths workshop with Professor Brainwave which really got us thinking. We finished the morning with a murder mystery where each group had to answer the maths questions to eliminate suspects. 

It was great fun and was so good to see all the smiles after the initial "oh no we have maths all morning," that I heard from quite a few children as they came in to class.
